Hentai Fukubukuro “lucky bag”

A neat little bit of Japan’s culture that we have wanted to indulge in for a while here at Tokyobookstore; is the practice of offering “Fukubukuro” on the site. For those who may not know, “Fukubukuro” – “Lucky Bags” in English, are bags of mixed goods from a shop, sold at a heavily discounted price, unbeknownst to customers when purchasing. Usually a New Year’s marketing tool among shopkeepers in Japan, we want to provide you with these fantastic lucky bags throughout the year while stocks last.
For all our customers who can’t purchase online, or who want to try to feel the contents, we will also be selling a few at our upcoming events – so check out where we will be Here!
Whether you want to have one of these awesome Fukubukuro to yourself, or to share the excitement as a gift, we will fill every bag of each price range lovingly with Ecchi goodies so you won’t be disappointed! We’ve also put a few of the brad new Hentai Doujinshi from a recent trip to Japan in a few Fukubukuro worth up to £22 each. Will you be the lucky one to receive a new stash of rare Doujinshi? Best put your lucky pants on and purchase one now!

Sweets in Japan

There are a lot of things I love about Japan and one of those things I can’t get enough of is Japanese sweets. Due to changing fashions and tastes in Japan there’s always a huge selection of Japanese chocolate, sweets and crisps I haven’t tried. Call it luck, divine intervention or most likely carb burning from carrying hundreds of bags of porn to and from shops and hotels (I’m not over exaggerating we calculated the weight of everything we bought from our last trip and found it to be about 200 kilograms which is almost 3 of me, don’t do the math!) but somehow I gain no weight from my trips to Japan even though I’m eating sweets and crisps by the cart full. We’ve added a video up on our YouTube which shows the extent of our gluttony, I must add a fair amount was to be given to friends as gifts it’s not all to put me into a food coma (mostly). more at: http://tokyobookstore.com

Winter in Tokyo

Happy New Year to everyone from tokyobook- store.com, for us and tokyobookstore last year was extremely hectic. In 2010 we’ve seen the business expand from some tables at a few comic expos to an online store where anyone at anytime throughout Europe and the rest of the world can purchase from us. But don’t worry you’ll still be able to visit our stand at upcoming events in 2011 so make sure to keep checking our events page for more details. In 2011 we hope to grow the business even more, adding new features to the web site giving customers and visitors a far better experience. We plan on expanding our product range like we’ve started with the sale of Tenga adult toys; we’re also planning to attend a lot more conventions and events. We’ve also got some very exciting new promotions coming up later on in the year so make sure to watch out for those.

As most of our readers might know we just got back from Japan a few weeks ago, unfortunately due to the extensive amount of stock were having to sort through and list we haven’t had a chance to share much of our experiences with you. So over the next few weeks we’ll be getting up a few fun blogs and photos as well as a couple of videos from our trip to Japan. We’ve added a few photos from our trip to Tokyo, which were mostly taken around Akihabara.
