Counting Down the Days till Expo

As you all may know Expo is coming up very soon, we here at Tokyobookstore are very excited and we’re sure all of you that are going are feeling the same. We love Expo because we get the chance to meet our customers face to face and it gives you the chance to give us suggestions on what you would like to see us selling in the future and just have a bit of a chat also.
The MCM Expo is big for us and the weeks and months leading up to it are always very hectic. Which is why we haven’t been able to blog as much as we would have liked, this year has been especially hard because of the amount new stock we’re bringing to
the Tokyobookstore stand. Also for the first time Expo is going to be opening its doors on Friday 2pm till 7pm which is making it a three day event. If you’re going on Friday make sure to visit the Tokyobookstore stand if you want the first pick of our latest stock.
We’ve had a lot of requests to bring a greater range of Yaoi to Expo. As you all know there are a few vendors selling Yaoi at Expo and around the UK but at silly prices, so we wanted to give you Yaoi at the lowest prices in the UK. We’re also bringing Yaoi Manga to Expo a product that we haven’t seen selling in the UK or the rest of Europe. Our range of Hentai Manga has been really popular in the past so we’re sure that you Yaoi fans out there are going to love Yaoi Manga just as much.
A problem that a lot of our customers have found in the past is not being able to find us until the end of their expo, so we’ve included the location of the Tokyobookstore stand. Hentai and Yaoi fans we hope you come track us down as soon as you get through the Expo doors. We’re also going to be selling an extensive range of Anime Art Books and Japanese Magazines.
A lot of people at Expo may not know who we are so that’s why for the first time we’ve put an advert in the MCM Expo newsletter - tell us what you think.

Where’s Final Fantasy XIII Versus?

I’m really wondering if we’re ever going to see Final Fantasy XIII Verses we know almost as much now as we did two years ago. There’s been some talk in Japan over the last few weeks about the release of some new trailers for XIII Verses as well as Final Fantasy XIII Agito ( the other Final Fantasy XIII game which is still to be released). Final Fantasy XIII Versus began development in 2003, by the team responsible for creating the Kingdom Hearts series as well as Final Fantasy VII Advent Children which is years sooner than the development for Final Fantasy XIV. The online version of Final Fantasy XIV for the PC was released last month with dates for the PS3 version set around mid 2011.
The Final Fantasy XIII Versus trailers will most likely feature game play for the first time and if we go by what we see in the XII Versus leaked footage from last month, the graphics will be absolutely gorgeous and looks to be an amazing game we just hope where not speaking about upcoming release dates this time next year. We’ve also added a Final Fantasy 18+ Doujinshi section.

So I’ve started to watch Kannagi

I started watching this series because of its over whelming popularity with the Akiba Otaku community, so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I would describe Kannagi as a Perverted Pinocchio Story, without going too in-depth the story focuses a around a male Japanese student who creates a female statue out of wood which later comes to life. Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens is funny and sexy I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good harem anime like Sekirei, Love Hina, Dears etc. Although this series isn’t that well known in the West I predict its popularity to rise over the next few months.
